Author Katrina Carmichael is a native Detroiter. She has always had a passion for writing. She has written children's books, short stories, plays, and poetry. Carmichael is a graduate of Cass Technical High School and Marygrove College (Master of Education) and has an endorsement in Educational Leadership. She is also a doctoral candidate. Carmichael loves to travel, spend time with family/friends, and enjoys to cook with her husband. She is the Founder/CEO of Sister2Sister Connection, LLC, a mentoring program for young ladies and Founder/Executive Director of SADA's House, a non-profit organization. Carmichael finds peace with helping others and paying it forward.
